@DutchWolverine@CavsAlex57@ESPN_BillC Clarifying: With that box score *disregarding the points*. ie, “Without knowing the score ahead of time, look at these handful of relevant stats that happened during the game between these two teams. Who would you expect to win?” In this case: M wins 92.7%; Iowa wins 7.3%.
@PeteSofinski@BlueInNC16@BeLong22811414@DanWetzel It’s all over the place, but here’s just two screen grabs from that weekend alone. (Earlier in the WMU/M game, and the next day Washington vs Wazzu)
@dennisYN67 1) Every M fan that I spoke to who went to Norman last year said similar things about OU. Glad we could reciprocate.
2) LOL @ the “SOONERS!” cheer at the end of the national anthem. Michigan does similar, shouting “HAIL!” when the lyrics say “O’Er the ramparts we….” .
@Bushman_LA@oroup@elonmusk@SawyerMerritt@aaronburnett Could also mitigate by launching in volleys. e.g, Say Louisiana had 5 pads each launching 2x per day. Don’t stagger one per ~2.5 hrs. Do a volley of 5 launches over 2 hrs every 12 hours. Far less disruption for air/boat restrictions.
@emollick Honestly, one of the most concerning aspects of the 18 min mark is the vibe of the presenter. Zero trace of concern for the substantive event, only a bit disappointed in the inefficiencies the agents are displaying.
@edokeefe Can you look into why there’s only 11 stars, rather than the typical 13 that symbolize the original 13 colonies that one would normally expect? (FWIW, one common Confederate design theme was 11 stars symbolizing the 11 confederate states.)
@miggycox@camsutter03 Yes & it’s intentional. The BB version of constantly committing OL holding or defensive PI in football, knowing refs wont have the patience to call it more than a small % of the time. (Still think Painter is a good coach though.)
@prettymadtree@MoneyIsClear *Almost* like he didn’t bother reading up on it! (eg The $2.99 is for specific items—one of which is 4 nuggets.) Also: Bashing a fast food chain for shrinking portion sizes to keep prices lower as America suffers an obesity epidemic & an affordability crunch is quite a take.
@Julie7913526833@DavidAFrench Both my wife & my sister said the same thing. I insisted they read the book anyway, and now it’s among both of their all time favorite books.
And the audiobook version is ELITE as well.
@ryangaur@AndrewJ626 Namely: “A popular SciFi book by the same author & adapted by the same screenwriter who turned an earlier book into the hit movie ‘The Martian’, directed by acclaimed directors, and staring an award winning Hollywood star couldn’t *possibly* produce a great film!”
