My laboratory at Univ Tokyo is hiring postdocs and/or graduate students. If you know anyone who might be interested in joining us, please repost or share this article. Thank you for your kindness and cooperation!

Human culture cells don’t always divide symmetrically. @AlexT_biology and Meraldi @LabMeraldi@unige_en reveal that centrosome age can lead to unevenly sized spindles. This unexpected asymmetry results in daughter cells of different sizes via kinase Plk1. https://t.co/Vy318nKTl7
New preprint from Meraldi lab! Our PhD students @ElenaDoria8 and @divanova_1 co-authored a paper where they investigate a connection between microtubule poleward flux, lagging chromosomes and microcephaly 🧠
Please come to our poster @ASCBiology to learn about how transient lagging chromosomes originating from poleward flux defects cause microcephaly, a project driven by @divanova_1 and @ElenaDoria8, presented by Patrick.
I will be presenting “How poleward microtubule flux leads to microcephaly” at #CellBio2023. This project was driven by two fantastic PhD students @ElenaDoria8 and @divanova_1 in @LabMeraldi at @UNIGEnews. Please stop by Poster P1205 on Dec-03, 1:45 PM.
Because of some administrative issues I won't be joining @ASCBiology. But my poster will! Please come to see a joint poster with @cytoPu under supervision of Ameya @turiyaaa and Amy @GladfelterLab to see the work which we carried out during Physiology Course 2023 at @MBLScience.
Looking forward for networking in Boston at Cell Bio 2023, the @ASCBiology and @EMBO annual meeting! I'll be presenting work from @LabMeraldi at @UniGEnews on impact of replication stress on centrosomes. To know more please stop by P1922 on Dec-04, 1:45pm - 3:15pm. #CellBio2023
Very excited to present my work on “Centrosome age breaks spindle symmetry even in symmetrically dividing cells” at #cellbio2023
-Poster 1942 on Dec. 4 at 12:15 - 3:15 PM. Exhibit Hall AB.
-Talk on Dec. 5 at 6:05 PM. Room 205B. Let’s meet and discuss there!
Check out our new paper led by a talented posdoc @devdwdi@Unige_en on molecular basis of mild replication stress induced premature centriole disengagement published today.
Thrilled to share my latest research work at @LabMeraldi@unige_en revealing molecular link between DNA repair and centrosome cycle got published in @NatureComms. Big thanks to everyone who either directly or indirectly supported me in this endeavour. https://t.co/NsstLC4oor
We too have our representation in this awesome group. Interested in DNA repair and centrosomes? Feel free to discuss with @LabMeraldi representative @devdwdi at #Centrosomes2023
Just got a sneak peek at the group photo from #Centrosomes2023 in Taksim Square! 240 brilliant scientists from around the globe came together, enriching the İstanbul’s scientific bonds and outreach!
Happy to share! The preprint of my project @LabMeraldi on the contribution of centrosome age to spindle size asymmetry in human cells is available (https://t.co/Kj4lBuGj7c).
I will also be presenting this project at #cellbio2023

EMBO Centrosomes in Development, Disease, and Evolution conference in enchanting Istanbul is in less than a month! The lineup of talks and posters is absolutely stellar, promising cutting-edge insights into centrosomes. The venue also offers a stunning view of Istanbul.
