With a new congress and new administration coming soon, now is the time to restore independent, physician-led care.

Legislative priorities:

-Repeal the ban on physician owned hospitals. Why can private equity own hospitals but physicians can’t? Let physician owned hospitals challenge these large non profit conglomerates?

-Implement site neutrality. Medicare shouldn’t pay hospitals more than private independent clinics for the exact same service.

-reform 340B. This massive drug discount program is being abused by large hospital conglomerates. It gives another competitive edge to hospitals over clinics and is costing taxpayers billions.

-repeal stark law. Why can a hospital refer patients internally, driving up revenue from more tests and treatments but physicians can’t do that with their independent practices?

Put differently is there a threshold mrd for the existence of a persisteter cell? Also a counter point to above argument is that osi ORR not better than 1st gen that don’t work adjuvantly.
