@drgurner@bscholl Small business may be one of AI’s biggest winners.
Large firms already have armies of interpreters: legal, IT, finance, compliance, consultants.
Small firms face the same maze without the army.
AI gives them cheap navigation - and that changes the power balance.
AI is beginning one of the largest peaceful redistributions of power: from interpreters of complexity
to people trying to act inside it.
The maze of law, process, software and compliance may expand.
But cheap navigation changes everything.
Yin and yang: new power, new risks.
@stevesi The question isn’t whether these 5 men can be trusted.
It’s whether the incentive systems, capital flows, and competitive pressures acting on them produce outcomes aligned with society.
Simple analogy to visualise how an LLM works:
Picture a stack of Jackson Pollock paintings.
Your prompt is a beam of white light dropped through them.
Each layer’s paint tints and bends the light, adding structure.
The coloured pattern that emerges is the next word.
Economic theories of 19th/20th centuries were built upon an economy driven by mechanistic automation.

The old theories won't, increasingly, work.
My friend and Neo4j CTO @prathle has written an outstanding blog post that summarizes the recent buzz around GraphRAG, what we've learned from a year of helping users build systems with Knowledge Graphs + LLMs and where we believe the space is going.

@GregKamradt Open a new ChatGPT4 and try:
What is the 4th letter in your response? And in what sentence is the letter?
I suspect it's using the new 'memory' feature.

Totally agree. For AI entrepreneurs, capitalizing on the moment when AI is trusted more than humans will be a huge tailwind. The timing of each use case may vary significantly. #AI#entrepreneurship
