🌟 Exciting Milestone Achieved! 🌟
I am thrilled to share that I attended my first Educational Data Mining Conference (@EDMConf2024 ) and Learning@Scale Conference (@LearningAtScale ) at @GeorgiaTech, Atlanta, last week. I delivered my very first presentation at an academic conference! 🎉
This incredible experience would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my advisor, Anthony Botelho, and amazing collaborators, Erik Weitnauer, Ji-Eun Lee, @misrael09, @seiyonly, and @ShanZhang8, from @UF_COE, @WPI, @GraspableMath. I am deeply grateful for their guidance and encouragement.
Thanks to @NeilTHeffernan, Luc Paquette, and @cab938 for the Doctoral Consortium. This provided an excellent opportunity to engage with senior researchers, such as Andrew Lan, Anna Rafferty, Bita Akram, @DZapataRiv, @koedinger, @peterpaws, @BakerEDMLab, and Tanja Käser.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful people I met at the conference, such as @encodedgeek, @ChengluLi, @conradborchers, @JoonLin84, @mh_cai, @rose_e_wang, @XinyiLu135, @yshi0526... Your support and insights have been invaluable, far exceeding my expectations. This journey has highlighted areas for my growth, but it’s also a fantastic starting point. I am beyond excited to continue the thrilling research that truly ignites my passion.
Check out the projects we showcased: https://t.co/PH6f45RYUk
Looking forward to the next opportunity to learn, present, and connect!
P.S. It was a delight to meet the little bear mascot in Atlanta! 🧸
