It was a pleasure to be interviewed on @RenewablesPod to discuss the ways in which policy and politics impact battery storage and renewable energy. Please give it a listen! 🎧

To be clear though, there are definitely plenty of solar + storage lease finance options as well as loan. I just haven’t seen solar + storage + HPWP leases yet, although there are loan options available.
Absolutely! These homes are loaded with energy-efficient technologies in electric appliances, solar panels, renewable energy storage batteries, an electric vehicle charger, heat pumps and electric heat pump water heaters. Clean + saving on electricity bills at the same time.
Affordable homes can also be climate friendly. This is exactly the type of innovation we need to start solving our housing crisis.

Yes several companies provide that type of integration with loans but I haven’t seen it yet with leases. It’s a great point about the need for more integrated financing options, especially for new home construction since it’s more likely to all be done at once.
And as long as the solar (w or w/o storage) system has software that includes consumption data along with production data, I don’t think the software associated with the HPWP necessarily needs to be fully integrated.
Last night, we took the kids to the @pdxwlf in downtown @PortlandGov and it was just incredible. Thousands of families and friends all having such a great time! I’d love to see more of these free, fun, family friendly events that bring people back downtown.

“For decades, energy companies have located gas plants and other polluting infrastructure in low-income communities of color. Now state officials want to make it harder for those communities to add clean energy.” Take action here: https://t.co/JzBX3jhhQS

One of the more extraordinary charts I've been able to build*
Thanks to LEDs, US households now use less energy for lighting than for refrigeration. Or, drying clothes.

Help turn millions of electric vehicles into ‘batteries on wheels’ for reliable, clean backup power across California! Tell your legislators to vote YES on #SB233: https://t.co/hwH0LFjmSq @NancySkinnerCA@climatecampaign@NuvveCorp@UCSUSA
Enjoyed speaking with @BBCFenwick on @BBCWorld about how the #inflationreductionact benefits consumers by expanding all Americans access to residential solar, battery storage, EV chargers and home electrification. Give it a listen and share!
