Because investors were expecting like $18B, it’s not enough to support 2T valuation, and their growth needed to be somewhere in the 60-70% range to justify the targeted valuation and their spending commitments. With no significant amounts of compute coming online in this next quarter and a price war with OAI, wouldn’t be surprised to see Q4 growth slip into the 30% range. Which is really bad for them.
@6851cf3c@LinusMixson Huh? Cgit doesn’t provide any type of DevOps tools. Are you referring to Gitea?
Regardless I got tired of outages and runner/action usage limits on GitHub so I moved my pipelines to Gitlab CE and only now mirror to GitHub
@Dr_Crossroads Almost like their entire business revolves around massive leverage, shit margins, and zero alternative revenue streams. No shit Amazon isn’t going bankrupt, but Coreweave isn’t Amazon.
@nejatian Yea guys, buy a 5 year timeshare on a home you “own.” And when you want to sell it find another sucker that will take over your fractional ownership.
Nvidia support can’t help those margins when everytime you turn around financing infrastructure cost increases or there’s a project delay. The unfortunate reality is for them to not go bankrupt miracles have to happen by essentially Q4 2027. Anything less and it’s going to be a conga line of neoclouds going into the wood chipper.
So fractional ownership on homes now? Essentially you’re locked into those payments that adjust every 5 years at a new rate unless you can find another sucker willing to buy your share. This is essentially a fucking timeshare except you’re the only person who can stay the night there.
@johnternus …… what is the market for this? All of my information is on my phone, I already have an iPad….. what would I use this for between my MacBook, my iPad, and my iPhone?
