✨Today, we take a step closer to justice and gender equality by hosting a "Justice for Women" Project Inception Meeting ⚖️
The Project will focus on combatting the subjugation of women within the legal systems in Sudan and Ethiopia 💪
Female lawyers, policymakers, as well as women and human rights network organisations from the Greater Horn of Africa have been brought together to discuss strategies, share ideas, and set the stage for transformative change.
We hope to leave the meeting with a shared understanding on how to engage in legal and policy reform to enhance #GenderEquality ✊`

#FIDAU Staff are currently undergoing a 3-day training under the PISCCA project. It is intended to equip the coalition leaders to effectively drive and create intergenerational feminist movements around Gender-Based Violence, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and climate change.
The Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Programme (UWEP) is providing sustainable solutions to empower Ugandan women. Merging the UWEP with 8 other funds will eliminate the advantage that this programme gave to vulnerable women #OpposeTheMerger#SaveUWEP#FIDAUganda
