@J_Hest23@AnthonyDiComo Agreed, I’ve said it for awhile. Anyone who throws 98+ at least has a chance to be a serviceable 1 inning reliever. As long as they don’t keep pushing him past 1 inning, he could be useful
@harryn@JRL004@MetsdUp I’m not complaining about the player they did get, but to fail to get someone else at all when the Mets are eating $ is pretty pathetic.
@JRL004@MetsdUp It’s not even being upset with Stafura being the headliner, but with Griffin at short he was likely never going to be part of the major league team anyways. Weaver was the best reliever available by a lot, he should’ve got another prospect or two on the backend
@EInsides@TorrensIsKing@NYPost_Mets Old/pending FA does not automatically mean little value. Lefty relievers should typically have more of a premium price tags, considering there aren’t that many of them. I would’ve expected a top 15 prospect and another 20-30 here
@don_julio79621@CourtsideClique@SleeperMets Tigers are only 2.5 out of the 3rd wild card spot. With Max Clark getting called up and immediately making an impact, they would’ve been better off lightly buying at the deadline and just giving Skubal the QO instead of embarrassing themselves with that deal
@Jt202102@jrwamsey I just mean if he were healthy was he projected to be ranked higher or was he gonna be ranked in the same range regardless. On paper it looks like a reach, but was he drafted in the range he would have been ranked if he wasn’t injured.
@SNY_Mets “We know we’re better” and “we’ll figure it out” need to be completely cut from these interviews. They are blatant lies told everyday. Someone man up and say they are pissed off at how bad they are?
