@TPhi341#i2e21 I believe that one of the reasons why we are so prone to be ignorant is that many of us are just afraid of the unknown. and when we see something we don't understand, our first reaction is usually fear.
@crustygobber#i2e21 ethics also teaches us right from wrong, and how we can differentiate that for ourselves. there are so many rules and regulations in schools, it's hard to tell what rule is a just and good rule, and what is not.
@BrenaManning@Emilylew0#i2e21 I agree, but in what ways do you think lack of wisdom differs from evil? they lead to similar outcomes, and what makes them different from one another?
@DavidOo999@FatHardens that is very true, especially when talking about the bill of using an ambulance. sometimes that cost of just using it would cost more than the treatment. #i2e21
@ethicsub This is one of those controversial matters, where there are both benefits, and drawbacks to have. We can see how China implemented population control in limiting the number of children one's family could have. #i2e21
@ethicsub#i2e21 i take sips of water and think so myself that everything will be fine. I take calm breaths and start to look at the situation i am in in a much calmer manner.
@WaldenBecca@Gracedom3102 Agreed, positive reinforcement is one way of training. Another way is feeling good after doing the right thing, that way u gain the sense of what to do, thus “training”. #i2e21
@crustygobber#i2e21 although i can see that view, what about the if i were to place value on something dear to me, but will seem like trash to others. How then do you view value, if not in the eye of the beholder? Value is directly set in my eyes through the person who appreciates that thing.
@moses5892 @Jiazhen_Lu3#i2e21 i think it depends on what the ends is and what was done for the means to achieve it. Not all goals are equal, and not all goals have the same level of means to go about on achieving it.
@2syon53#i2e21 i believe this too, like for example, if a person not trained were to defuse a bomb, they probably had good intentions to save people. However the person cuts the wrong wire and kills a lot of people in the resulting explosion. The outcome was nothing good.
@Colton97412886#i2e21 as well as knowing what your goals are and how you want to approach them is aslo a great way for us to improve out decisions in making structured pives
@nangelinee #i2e21 As someone who watched his apology video, i have got to say that was the worst apology ever. There was no address of the situation, no one taking responsibility, and most of all, he said his fans were his number one priority, which clearly was not the case.
@livwasnock #i2e21 and you can also see the polar opposite of that situation. What people are NOT willing to sacrifice even if it is for the greater good. Such as not wearing masks, social distancing, anti vacxing, etc.
@JulianaJjdenney#i2e21 rights just as many other things humans have made was created in response to a problem. And in this sense natural rights were made to make up for the lack of rights.
