Yes. The first time I experienced this was with the His Dark Materials trilogy as a teen. I sulked and cried in the woods for a few days when I finished the series. I was so upset it ended ๐
Still happens to a lesser degree, depending on the book or movie, where I embed myself with the characters and get obsessed with the story. It can be exhausting.
Iโm sorry to hear that. Itโs hard. Iโm in this weird limbo where me and my sister were raised Catholic by my hardcore Catholic parents. I strayed, but came back. And Iโve gotten nothing from my family but icy silence or outright hostility. They no longer prescribe to Catholicism, or Christianity at all really.
I think a lot of people feel isolated when they make these life-changing journeys. And maybe thatโs how itโs supposed to be, at least for now. The more isolated I feel from family and friends, the more I lean into God and my church community.
@BillDeN_Artist@fugustra1 Holy shit. Splashing her child. In the face. While white substance drips from the childโs mouth.
Sheโs selling that child to adult men.
