I am thrilled to share our latest study just published in @Cancer_Cell! We found that senescent cells, specifically senescent macrophages promote tumor growth by adjusting the local microenvironment.

Very excited to share new work led by the Fields lab with our team contributing to this exciting discovery.
This study shows that senescent tumor cells actively induce the formation of tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) in PRKCi-deficient lung adenocarcinoma.

Registration open for this meeting for a bit longer. A few spots left https://t.co/9XtLzURSy4 Submit an Abstract and present a Short Talk or Poster. This is a small meeting, so a great networking opportunity w/ great speakers. Please circulate.
Thank you everyone for joining us at our first Thursday seminar last week! Big thanks to Dr. Prieto @LuisIPrieto1 for sharing his research on Cancer and senescent cells. We were also pleased to introduce the new team at MRFA.
