He looked me in the eyes and said, "Oh, pretty good, huh? We're talking about being 'pretty good' are we? Well I read on X that Bret Taylor created Google Maps, sold a company to Facebook, created the Like button, became the CTO of Facebook, founded Quip which sold to Salesforce for $750m, became the co-CEO of Salesforce, and was chairman of board of Twitter, on the board at Shopify, and now on the board of OpenAI all by age 43. So, I guess by that definition, your career has been 'pretty good' as well. Good job, dada."

Then he picked up his marker and resumed getting green "washable" ink all over my dining room table.
