1/ After five years of hard work, the book is in my hands. The Ẓafarnāma of Guru Gobind Singh: A Critical Edition, Translation, and Commentary is Volume 103 of the Harvard Oriental Series, with a preface by Wheeler Thackston, and is now available for pre-order. A thread.
This is the same Bhagwant Mann who, as an MP, used to question the government in Parliament. But now that he is Chief Minister, he cannot tolerate anyone questioning him or challenging his decisions.
A young man who showed the Chief Minister a black flag has alleged that he was brutally assaulted by the police. He further alleges that, with no regard for Sikh religious norms, his gatra was removed and his hair was pulled.
Since when did asking questions become a crime, Chief Minister? Is this the promised “Badlaav” — or a government afraid of being questioned?

We Can't Ignore the Rise of Anti-Sikh Hate
Following the recent attack at Nanaksar Gurdwara in Edmonton, Alberta last week, we’ve seen widespread coverage of the incident and the disturbing reality it represents.
An individual disrupted morning prayers and assaulted members of the sangat who tried to intervene. No one should have to fear for their safety in a place of worship.
This incident is yet another reminder of the rise of Anti-Sikh Hate and the growing need to take it seriously. Hate targeting Sikhs cannot be dismissed, normalized, or ignored until something worse happens. Our Gurdwaras must be places where our community can feel safe.
Anti-Sikh Hate must be confronted.
Two men were stabbed by a man with a screwdriver during morning services at an Edmonton Gurdwara. The hate crimes unit is investigating.
This is horrifying but not surprising — Sikhs have warned about rising anti-Sikh hate. We need action. United, we will defeat this hate.

I feel like all the self help, self care, self love stuff can sometimes feel like a trap that keeps you stuck focusing inward, but true fulfillment comes from turning that energy outward and serving something bigger than the self
There are thousands like him, both Indian real people and bots, working under English names. Soon, a few will come in the comments.
