@MegCNaylor @clara_neuro @ShabaNabi@ClareGerada Read the room please . Yes , she’s wrong . It doesn’t mean our care is “less given” or we have “no boundaries”. It’s about a human interaction that’s mutually respectful and appreciated
@ClareGerada In today’s climate a patient asking me how I am feels enormous . It does a lot for the doctor patient relationship, and it doesn’t ever take away from the patient’s agenda . In fact , it’s a better consultation
@soulsister6458@JANJAN209@susannareid100 That could be because you’ve remained well, or your GP has managed your condition remotely to ensure you don’t need to unnecessarily enter the surgery, or you’ve been appropriately seen elsewhere?
@JANJAN209@susannareid100 Stop blaming the GPs. I’m a GPand I’ve been seeing patients throughout lockdown . I have never worked harder .13 hour days are the norm, every day.The system is clogged on every level primarily due to chronic underfunding . Check your facts
@sealbirman@mikegalsworthy Months? Years and years and years. For years we have been understaffed , have dealt with real term pay cuts , staff shortages , and underfunding .you can’t save lives with goodwill
