@CB70050440 I agree that we need to fight against this bill!! Drag shows allow people to freely express themselves and have fun as well. Drag shows are a great place for people to openly be themselves, and it should not be taken away.
@HannahWestWKUSW I enjoyed reading this article. It provides a lot of great points on how important it is to teach children about racism in order to fight for social justice.
@MartinPigram I support this bill. Nobody should feel as if they need to change their hair to appear more professional. Thank you for this infographic, I learned a lot from it.
Conversion camps are meant to “change” somebody to not be a LGBT+ member anymore. NASW does not support conversion camps. End conversion camps, they have potential to physically and mentally harm LGBT+ members. #WKUSocialWorkPolicy

There is still economic inequality in America today. Black Americans do not always get paid the same as white Americans, even for the same job. Race should not determine your wage. The NASW does NOT support inequality. #WKUSocialWorkPolicy
@BloodyRed7 Knowledge/awareness is important for prevention. I did not realize how common Alzheimer's disease is. I will be learning more about it now!
There is a bill to raise the retirement age to 70. Currently, its 65. Changing it to 70 would mean many workers would either pass away before retirement, or not have long to enjoy it. NASW is opposed to this bill. #WKUsocialworkpolicy
@HannahWestWKUSW I support this bill! The infographic you shared has important information. Knowing warning signs and what we can do is a great first step to helping youth.
Vote for HB 592 to create a KY Youth Mobile Crisis Response Program. Behavioral health emergency services would be covered by the state if the youth is uninsured, so they do not have to worry about how to afford this service. NASW supports this bill. #wkusocialworkpolicy
@HalieHemmerle 🙋♀️I tend to avoid going to the doctor unless absolutely necessary due to cost. Universal health insurance is needed. Nobody should be avoiding healthcare in fear of financial hardships!
Medicaid is a great resource. Expanding Medicaid and making it more accessible would be beneficial in ensuring equal access to healthcare. The NASW supports the expansion of Medicaid.

@daniezaw I am in full support of this bill! Your infographic does a great job providing important information. It is sad that 19% of the youth in that study were homeless.
House Bill 41 would benefit foster youth and KY educators by providing resources and growth opportunities in the educational system, which addresses the unique needs of foster youth. The National Association of social workers support this bill. #WKUsocialworkpolicy@raymerforKY
@raymerforKY House bill 41 will help foster youth in school by creating a toolkit for school personnel, which provides them with resources and tools to address the unique needs foster children face. #WKUsocialworkpolicy
