@Prusa3D That's precisely what I'm playing with at the moment. This almost looks like it's been lightly spray painted with gold but it hasn't โ it's all colour-swapping ๐
@3DPBelgian@LDOMOTORSJASON To be specific, it's the auto retract after filament loading on the XLs which causes a jam. I've had to roll back to an earlier firmware.
@3DPBelgian@LDOMOTORSJASON The auto retract problem is interesting as it seems to be different for different machines. For example, I have absolutely no problems with it on my two core ones but it causes mayhem on my XLs, yet presumably other people are having no problems at all with it.
@XX___UK@MichielWorkwize I was told we had three new postgrads turning up (CS dept at a UK University). Come the day, 20 turned up. Try as you might, you can't provide a decent service on terrible information.
@RMH_SameDay@gazzadaz Eh? Is it different in Scotland? Further south, outside of motorways it's 60 single carriageway, 70 dual carriageways, unless signage says otherwise.
@ListerLawrence@Auto_Revving Presumably the battery is replaceable n'' all. A few years down the line, a quick purchase from eBay and it's good for another 5 years. What's not to like?
@ZombieHedgehog_ Grid infill definitely results in an unpleasant noise and potential damage on my Prusas if I go to high infill for some reason. Try 80% or 90% infill + grid. Or rather, I suggest you don't โ just take my word for it!
@modernheroestv Poor old Cannot. It's bad enough having a surname of Display-Name (after the midwife messed up filling the web form), without this system then dropping the capitalisation as well ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
@YGK3D@Prusa3D I'd love this to be in PrusaSlicer, and to be able to reference the extra, virtual extruders loaded with these virtual filaments in the colour painting for my XLs. A man can dream :-)
