I asked dot, instinct and grok bot to send WhatsApp messages to my close contacts, asking for their address and birthdate, and then update my Apple contact list.
Only Dot managed to one-shot this task.
The reality of building a company is that unexpected things happen all the time, and my run training definitely felt that…
Somehow this choppy graph still got me a 3:12 at the NY marathon
Excited to share that the Sava Trust Company is officially open for business!
We’ve secured our Nevada trust charter and can now serve families nationwide, with $10 million in funding led by @GradientVC along with @ycombinator , @svangel , @Max (Instacart co-founder), @orangecollectv , @SurgePointCap and a number of other incredible investors.
What drew us to trust administration was the gap between how much it matters and how cumbersome it remains. Families rely on it to protect and pass on their wealth, yet the process still involves fragmented systems, paperwork, and weeks of back-and-forth. There’s a lot of unglamorous work to do here, and a meaningful reason to do it well because over $6.5 trillion dollars sit inside trusts today and most of that will transfer to the next generation in the coming decade.
We’re taking on that work with AI agents and experienced trust officers, using our charter as the foundation for a broader platform of trust and estate-planning products that will be distributed through advisors.
Just as important to me is who I’m building with. I’ve always believed that choosing the right partners is one of the most consequential decisions you make. The chance to build Sava with @nimit, who has already founded and successfully sold two companies, made this an easy decision.
Grateful to Nimit, our team, and everyone who has backed us.
We’re just getting started. Back to work! 🫡
