The so called “Peace Advocacy Letter” talks about the “legitimate security concerns of both sides.”

That argument falls apart on one simple question:

When has any Indian citizen crossed the LoC, picked up an AK-47, and targeted Pakistani civilians or security forces?

Since the 1980s, it is India that has faced decades of cross-border terrorism by Pakistani nationals infiltrating across the LoC, killing Indian civilians and security forces, directed and sponsored by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Equating the security concerns of the victim and perpetrator is not peace advocacy it is a distortion of history.
