@SpringhouseFilm This is not true. Maybe some IFB folks or something, but Presbyterians (Ortlund is a weird mix of Presby and Baptist, and his dad was an Anglican canon theologian til recently) do not hold that position, and Anglicans - the largest prot denom - *def* don’t hold that position.

@b0rtcask1 Uh, Vatican 2 wasn’t ecumenical. And Anglicans don’t deny any ecumenical counsels. They deny some Roman-only dogmas, but it’s neither a counsel nor ecumenical when only one see shows up.
