@jillpower00 Great Post! i agree that fans will always prefer a live show than a recording! I also agree that the live version could sound less appealing depending on the sound vs. recording. #POPMUSW22
@AminTabrizchi Great Post! very interesting take and i agree with you! a lot of people still prefer to go to a concert and hear live music than a recording. #POPMUSW22
I believe that Wald's statement does hold up with some groups of people. A lot of people would rather listen to the artists they love play the music as it was recorded but there are also a large group of people that enjoy a live music setting, cover band or otherwise.#POPMUSW22
@anik_mun Awesome tweet! I agree that it introduced a new generation to rock music but it definitely should have been credited better. Awesome points! #POPMUSW22
@jillpower00 Great tweet! I think you are entirely correct. The songs were often not as good quality and the fact that they were not properly credited was unjust! #POPMUSW22
I believe “schlock” music is a completely valid expression if executed properly. Taking inspiration from other artists is done by many, if not all artists to some degree. The problem arises when credit is not given and this was unfortunately often the case. #POPMUSW22
@Zoeycross1 Hey Zoey, Great tweet! I agree that his breaking voice makes his songs easy to emotionally connect with. It's so easy to feel his emotions when listening to his music! Great job. #POPMUSW22
@JonCooperMUN I absolutely agree with this and said something similar in my tweet! his music definitely is relatable and imperfect, which actually makes it perfect! :) #POPMUSW22
Ray Charles is a R&B icon. I believe that he used a “breaking voice” to signify the hardships that he has endured in his lifetime, making his music powerful and relatable. Anyone can sympathize and find comfort in his music which is the sign of a great artist. #POPMUSW22
@jillpower00 Very true! The app suggested albums and artists is now the main way that i find new music! It's also super enjoyable to find new genres you may have overlooked if you had to pay for the individual content! great post.

@chrayl4 Really interesting point! i never really thought about it when i was looking at the assignment but it's so true! AirPods have definitely influenced people to buy them to fit in. The song suggestions are great too! :) great tweet!

Spotify has completely altered the way I listen to music. Before this service I was buying songs for three dollars each. Now I access unlimited music for a similar price. It has allowed me to expand my horizons and discover my love for folk music for no extra charge!

Popular music is creating false needs by marketing clothing and accessories to consumers appealing to people that aim to mimic their fave artists. Music is good if it can make people feel something. A lot of popular music does that and is therefore NOT dumbed-down. #POPMUSW22
