Calling all avid readers…am looking for engaging young adult fiction - especially contemporary writers, ideally with a body of work for students to explore, books for a range of ability. Any suggestions would be welcomed! 📚🤓@LitdriveUK
Can I pick your English lesson twitter brains - what are you all doing for home learning? Recording lessons, booklets, Oak Academy? We’re unsure what to go with so any ideas would be appreciated! 🤓
@clairegfisher @maternityCPD My mat leave ended yesterday and im so glad I spent my days just with her. Talk and sing as much as you can, watch them as they change hourly and do not feel bad if you both hardly move from the sofa or ‘only’ achieve a walk in the park. Being together is 100% enough
First proper day back after a not-quite-what-I-had-imagined maternity leave. A change in role, 3 day weekends now to look forward to and a huge task ahead getting students into school safely and closing the ever-increasing gap. Can’t wait 💪🏻🙂
@MissG_E_M @fod3 What exam board for Lang? If you dm me her email or I can send you mine, I can send stuff over if it’s suitable. I returned on Monday myself so understand how she feels!!
When my dad came back from serving in the gulf war I held him so tight as he walked off the coach at the base.I couldn’t let go.I remember it like it was yesterday. This brought it all back.Thoughts are with every family missing loved ones this Christmas
@Lit_liverbird@Team_English1 The giver, of mice and men, private peaceful, stripped pjs, cirque du freak, Oliver Twist, holes and gangsta granny - staff pick according to their preference and class ability. Always looking to add to the selection though, already inspired by the other replies!
