@tomfgoodwin Cell towers maintain 4G for legacy services, but reduced bandwidth. They reduced 4G resources in favor of 5G.

4G still works fine in many locations where 4G has appropriate bandwidth.

@vrexec One other thing to factor in… Most landlords (esp. large companies in desirable locations) will increase rent each year. In order to avoid this, you will need to move frequently. Moving has a financial cost and also takes a toll on you and the family mentally!

A thought: Humans didn't rapidly get more intelligent. Instead, we progressed quickly by developing new tools to augment our capabilities. Perhaps AI is already "smart enough" and letting it iterate on tooling is the key to AGI.
