Meet the CEO South African National Parks (SANParks) Hapiloe Sello, wo worked her way up since 2016 and today is CEO of one of the best state owned enterprise.

Under her in 2 years SANPARKS has hit a record breaking R 4.1 BILLION in revenue, 11% increase from last years R3.7 Billion. unqualified audit. Most of its revenue is generated from commercial activities with a very small government grant. This powerful women, who we have a lot like her in South Africa wants no government grants and wants to be self sufficient. She is exploring major opportunities to which will gurantee self sufficiency.

About 6.2 million people visit its parks each year and at least 55% foreign. When she came they had no money. Believe it or not, they have R2.7 BILLION CASH IN THE BANK and its assets exceeds its total liabilities by R3.7 BILLION.
Sello has made SANParks in a strong financial health position, solid revenue growth, and a resilient balance sheet and a sound well managed institution with extremely high level of staff moral. She even created the Kudu awards this year honouring staff. This year she created 7420 permanent jobs thru EPWP.
