A6: Absolutely change gears. Teachers have to be comfortable improvising to make sure students are engaged and motivated to participate meaningfully. If a big chunk of the class has checked out, I'm doing something wrong and need to adapt! #EdTechChatWSUV

A5: I would lean towards avatars, but I agree with @eun5124. If there's a closed online community for my class to connect with other schools, for example, I would prefer pictures to make it more real. But I want it to be safe and private. #EdTechChatWSUV

@MrsMcCoy19 @trevor_cashmore @Mr_Blystone Also, if you want to get in to tabletop rpgs, Bubblegumshoe is super cool. It's about teen detectives solving mysteries, so students could connect to it easily and there would be plenty of opportunities to explore science concepts!

A4: Continually revisiting lessons on online safety as an integrated part of the curriculum will help keep kids safe. It needs to be fully integrated so that safe practices feel like a natural part of being online. #EdTechChatWSUV

A1: I'm interested in the Serious Play Conference! I think play is a great way to learn and I would love to hear peoples' thoughts on supporting this with technology. It would also give me ideas on how to use D&D to do cool things in the classroom! #Edtechchatwsuv
