Here’s something for Republicans in Washington to wake up to: In a lengthy post attacking both Democrats and Republicans, Trump says they’re canceling Jay Clayton’s scheduled hearing today and that Bill Pulte will remain acting Director of National Intelligence for now.
KENNEDY: Trump wants to turn the entire Middle East into a massive Trumpworld resort, which I celebrate because I'm hoping by being on the same show with VP Vance that I get a discount code
JD VANCE: The discount code is "Trump 2028"
“People shouldn’t read too much into the language of the MOU,” one US official told me, describing the agreement as a “political document.”
“What’s more important than the actual document is the understandings we have with each other... We came up with language that allows (Iran) to say what they need to say for their domestic politics.”
Journalists traveling with Trump, could you please ask him to explain why his 2 page MOU is better than the JCPOA? Ask him to make explicit comparisons? Thank you.
I think the compromise consensus position for pretty much everybody of good faith should be that the full text of the agreement be released. There’s no reason to take Trump’s word or Iran’s or random leakers’ word for it. Release the text, period.
@VanessaP34284 At those sporting events, the honor guard is for the presentation of the colors, not a couple of dudes walking down the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Nice try.
A 14-member crew just started offloading scaffolding after taking an extended break, presumably due to thunderstorms. When the workers started moving, the crowd of about 150 immediately broke out into chants of “Take it down! Take it down!”

American credibility has deteriorated to the point where the president can announce a diplomatic agreement and the near-universal reaction is "let's wait for confirmation from Tasnim"
@TomMoyerUT Decades ago, in the midst of a California drought, none other than Dick Cheney observed: Conservation must be treated as a supply...and paid for accordingly.
Phil, I get that it's easy to beat up on undocumented kids, but as a fmr. legislator and CPA, you know that in-state tuition is still revenue, as has been demonstrated to the legislature several times.
In fact, it recoups some of those costs you enjoy talking about. #utpol
Why does Utah offer illegal aliens in - state tuition?
Federal law says states cannot give college tuition breaks to people here illegally just because they live in the state.
Utah found a loophole - The Utah Way
Utah’s law (HB 144) gets around this rule by using a clever trick. It says if you went to Utah high school for 3 years or more, you get to pay the cheaper in-state tuition.
In a strong Republican state like Utah, this sends the wrong message; Come here illegally, go to our schools, and we will use Utah taxpayer money to help pay for your college. At the same time, American kids from other states have to pay the full higher price.
This is not kindness. It encourages more illegal immigration, hurts our own citizens, and weakens the rule of law. Put Utahns first. Put Americans first. Close these loopholes.
.@SECWAR “WE ARE DEFENDING THE HOMELAND AND WE ARE TAKING BACK OUR HEMISPHERE…
This president came in and said NOT ONLY is the Monroe Doctrine alive—not only does the Roosevelt Corollary live—BUT NOW WE HAVE THE DONROE DOCTRINE.”
