@mrswestgard3 @SignUpGenius @MetzlerKISD I miss you too! I'm curious to hear about the new 3G team!

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

I just signed up on the "Bus Buddies" page for Metzler Family https://t.co/DVfbSTYiMd via @signupgenius

Can't wait to see my @MetzlerKISD huskies on Wednesday!

What #geniushour looked like today...teach one student 2x2 digit multiplication, and it spreads like wildfire! #studentsteachingstudents #Promise2Purpose @MetzlerKISD

Tornado watches/warnings can be really scary, but it also gave us a chance to tlk about how to stay safe at school, home, or if caught outside when one touches down.
Parents, use this opportunity to talk to your kiddos about the safest spot in your home if a tornado were to hit!

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

My third graders did a wonderful job today staying safe and calm during our tornado drill that turned out to not be a drill. Shout out to @kitacombs for her calm and reassuring updates 🙌

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

My STAAR buddy surprised me with this beautiful succulent arrangement!

Praying to the plant gods that I can keep it alive! 🙏🙏

Can you believe STAAR is only 10 days away?! The good news: our kids are so ready to #rocktheSTAAR

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

@ealy_daeducator I like that! Do they have to go in any sort of order or do they get to put their color on the board as they finish questions?

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

@AnjaEMims any chance you could set something like this up for Ms. Flores this week? :)

[Shannon Webster @_MrsWebster_]

What’s a desk edge but a perfect place for a fraction number line!?

3rd graders placed fractions accordingly on a number line between 0 and 1 and explained how to compare them based on how close they are to 0 or 1 @SueOConnellMath @teedjvt @KatherineTThorn

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

@AnjaEMims @lorijowestgard @MrsMooreTweets @Andreathomas110 @kahla_reidy @Bbingaman2 @KHavemann12 Love it! What a great visual

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

I did this experiment last year my my kiddos to show how volcanoes create new landforms, but I like the addition of taking a sample of the layers @RiceU_STEM @conocophillips #REMSL

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

Inconclusive, but we can tell you that the biggest pumpkin doesn't always contain the most seeds!

[Metzler Elementary @MetzlerKISD]

Our scientific huskies are investigating pumpkins...students are wondering if you can predict the amount of seeds in a pumpkin by counting the lines?? We can’t wait to find out!@MrsKGardner16 let us know!

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

The third graders loved playing football with our awesome watch dawg at recess today @MetzlerKISD !!

@claireinschool @conocophillips Awesome!! How did it go?

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

Ozobot races! We came up with the idea that when a group comes to our station, each person has to choose which line they think will win! Extension in the classroom - now go create your own! #remsl @RiceU_STEM @conocophillips

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

Yayyy we are covering #coding @RiceU_STEM tonight! I hope to bring back some ideas for #codingclub @AmandaPosterick @FallinlovewithK #remsl

[Kelli Gardner @MrsKGardner16]

We had a great turn out at Open House @MetzlerKISD tonight! It's so nice to see so many parents take a vested interest in their child's education! #promise2purpose

Also - shout out to my partner @mrswrightreads for doing most of the talking! 😄
