I may not be teaching science, but I am so excited to continue supporting our students’ growth in all of their classes! Need some review? Not understanding an assignment? No problem, step into my office 😄
I’m so thankful to be learning from Ms. Herron and helping this group of incredible scholars reach their fullest potential! Watch out for @kmsdebateteam this year!
Debate Tryouts Day 1 ✅
We taught claim, evidence, & warrant. Then, gave them 15 minutes to prep 5 minute speeches. In short, we were impressed. There are some great minds at KMS!
@MsHeld_KMS ‘s smile in the background is how we’re feeling after day 1!

"I feel it’s so important to talk about WHY we expect certain behaviors at school," writes 3rd-grade teacher Jenna Peters, who was inspired by teacher @room213tpt on Instagram. Have students brainstorm & reflect on examples of when to be quiet vs. when to talk, Jenna suggests.

I am absolutely honored to end my third year of teaching at KMS with a bang! Thank you to all the students who appreciate my chalkboard doodles & consistent smiles!
It was an honor to have these scholars as my first students, and now to send them on to high school! I can only hope that I taught them as much as they taught me. To my forever-students, go take the world by storm. Do good, be good, and know how loved you are!

I was the “she’s smart but” student.
So now as an educator I don’t say that about my students. I try to work around the “but” that everyone brings up. I’m sure they may have teachers after me who won’t do the same. Having teachers who went a mile for me is why I’m here today.
