WATCH: Members of the Basiita clan on Friday made a cultural announcement following the death of Tooro King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru IV. The announcement followed a directive by Omujwera Musuuga Charles Kamurasi, head of the Babiito royal clan and uncle to the late King Oyo. The Basiita gathered at a kaswa, a small raised hill, where they sounded an alarm to notify subjects of the Tooro Kingdom about the death of the King. The ritual is part of the traditional system used to communicate significant events within the kingdom, particularly the death of a reigning monarch.

I am one of your good supporters and a young person who believes in your leadership. With utmost respect and humility, I kindly appeal to your sense of mercy and compassion regarding Mr. Elias Lukwago.
While there may have been disagreements and actions that caused hurt, he was often carrying out professional duties on behalf of his client.
I interracted with him at court a few days and his health by all indications, is not in the best condition.
