Happy world science day!
These are art work by some of grade 6 students from Sh.Feydhoo school during science class. It was overwhelming to see their creativity and their concern towards our environment. ❤️✨
This year CHEC helped support a number of mangrove projects around the Commonwealth.

Working for the community within the community have always been hard. I have always done it with lots of love towards my island and with lots of dedication. The recent incident truly proved so much! How difficult it is to voice out for the right when you are GIRL AND A YOUTH! 😓
This huge Mangrove apple tree was found in Dhefashi Kandoofaa in Sh.Feydhoo, right next to the area where die off has occurred. This tree is healthy so far! ❤️
@Rayya62588040 Same thing happened in Feydhoo as well during Tsunami. We would have been much more effected, if we didn't have mangroves around the island acting as a shield to protect us.
Thanks to Feydhoo council for giving our team the opportunity to participate in the virtual training session held by EPA. We are really looking forward to work with our council in the sample collection from Feydhoo kandoofaa. Together we will #SaveFeydhooKandoofaa
Just in we recieved photos of another die-off happening in Ha. Uligan 😣 They starter observing this phenomenon at the end of May 2020!! @SamraHussain6 and her team have already rolled their sleeves to do whatever they possibly can to #SaveKoshiKolhuFaa. Thank you Samra n team🌍
These mangroves looks very similar to the ones dried in Sh.Feydhoo as well. Proper researches need to be done inorder to save the mangroves drying in northern islands. #SaveVaikaradhooKandoofaa#mangrovesmatter
