@EDTElizabeth https://t.co/afex16eNbX sounds pretty cool, kinda reminds me of Jamboard. I will have to check this out because I've had issues with implementing Jamboard with my students. Hopefully https://t.co/OmxJFyq9SN is more user-friendly.
@AshleyDills1 NearPod has definitely left its mark during this time of virtual instruction. I like the idea of digital notebooks, but I feel like they would work more effectively with older students.
@LatchToni I had no idea there were so many features and activities available in NearPod...thank you for sharing the Vlog. I definitely feel more confident about using going forward.
@Ashley_Wilmu I have heard so many great things about NearPod and have definitely stayed away from using it...out of fear I guess. After reading your comments I believe my TAG students would benefit tremendously on asynchronous days.
@ct55612 I purchased Padlet and was apprehensive about how my students would take to it. They love it! I use it for vocabulary application and the question of the week where students must answer the question and respond to classmates. They love adding pictures and GIFs. #wuedt6020
@EDTElizabeth I use videos constantly to supplement instruction. I add them to assignments in Schoology on asynchronous learning days. The videos really help students to get a deeper understanding of the content. #wuedt6020
@MayBlan27 I teach 3rd grade and remote learning is extremely difficult for my students. So I make time to have lunch with them over Zoom. We also have Fun Fridays, this is a time where we are more relaxed and really get to know each other. #wuedt6020
@hyperteacher93@McCoolWILMu I totally agree and my advice was very similar. It's easy to become overwhelmed when there are so many new things to learn. We just have to remember to extend ourselves grace during the learning process.
@ZTemple5 @McCoolWILMu I agree. Knowing the "who's who" in the technology department and in your building is a huge stress reliever. Sometimes we don't want to be a bother, but there are people willing and wanting to assist.
@McCoolWILMu Technology can be extremely intimidating, even more so when itβs continually changing. My Advice to struggling educators, prioritize the technology that interests you and remember that βItβs supposed to be fun.β Practice, practice, practice until you feel comfortable. #wuedt6020
@SarahQJ The biggest educational challenge during remote learning has been attendance and parent involvement. To address this, I have extended my office hours and welcomed parents to contact me at whatever time is most convenient for them; whether via ClassDojo or telephone. #wuedt6020
@hyperteacher93@McCoolWILMu I completely agree with you, Stephanie. I have nearly 10 students out of 36 who are consistently M.I.A. It's extremely frustrating. It has gotten to the point where we spend instructional time tracking down missing students.
@KellyLWhaley1 Kelly, 3rd graders don't like turning on their cameras either. I have set expectations that if cameras are not turned on Dojo points will be deducted and if the issue persists they will be removed. This has helped but they always try to buck against the rules.

Although it is far from new, eLearning has gained increasing traction due to COVID-19. The facets of eLearning have had to evolve with the changing times, while more innovations are being created to make online learning more seamless. #wuedt6020
So happy to have had the pleasure to meet these two wonderful young ladies @caebaebae & @rich_not_brooke. They did it and WE are so proud of them! #WarnerThunderbirds#WeAreRedClay#udel
