@cruthaifios@DrCasteelEM Define an “unnecessary biopsy”.
Patient want these tests, because they want reassurance. Reassurance in the form of a negative biopsy result is far more prized by the average patient than my words saying that I don’t believe there is cause for concern.
@JaclineMouraud@sinthesky This is an image from a Ukrainian independence leaflet distributed by Melnyk’s organization. Obviously when they were distributing this, they opposed both Nazis and Soviets. Perhaps it is you that need the brush-up on history.
@Tr1ster0@JordanSoze There are plenty of very capable neurosurgeons who remove brain tumors in non-academic hospitals. Some “community hospitals” are actually large tertiary care facilities.
@Tr1ster0@JordanSoze Professors often have less experience with the instruments in their own hands than a busy community surgeon. Academics spend more time watching residents and fellows operate. Also don’t assume that community surgeons always pass along every complex case to the Univ.
@esperjack484@gail_gail9dd@ralakbar@Archer83Able Funding NATO is in the best interest of the United States, regardless of how foolish Trump is. NATO bases do more for us than they do for Europe.
@Tallest1962@ralakbar@Archer83Able “How does Congress have any power over this”
Per the US Constitution, Congress decides how all US government money is spent. When the Executive branch makes spending decisions, it’s only because Congress has granted a delegation of their spending authority.
@amuse@AstroTerry@TXRandy14@RepBrianBabin This is not even close to true.
It’s 1/60th of that number, about 33 million per month in 2026. That’s with an M, not a B.
When you are that far off, it damages your credibility, as it’s obvious you posted before checking accuracy.
@teafortillerman@greggnunziata I don’t know how old you are, but Clinton cut the civil service substantially while actually using a rational process to do so. Doge was a ridiculous joke that accomplished next to nothing in cost reduction.
