Speaking of trust. When our EWS1 revealed missing cavity barriers, #Bellway said they just HAPPENED to be missing in the places surveyed (lol.) Now behold this wall after cladding was taken off; there is NOT A BARRIER in sight.This is the same on all walls so far. @EOCS_Official
Still don't really understand why there isn't a list of widely-used, particularly dangerous cladding products and some form of product recall for high rises with manufacturers footing the bill
In bldgs like mine, innocent leaseholders had to pay for alarms ourselves as we were unfortunate enough to find out in 2017 that our bldg was covered in dangerous ACM category 3 cladding. We got NO funds from WWRF as @luhc excluded us.
Can we now apply for a refund @michaelgove?
I’m sure I’m not the only #leaseholder who wakes up feeling physically Ill (if I’ve slept at all) every day! Why are we being punished when we are innocent & were sold #safe homes which are actually #unsafe? How is this ok? @michaelgove@RishiSunak 😓 #EndOurCladdingScandal
Rydon had started remediating the development but all works seem to have stopped now,
I’m assuming because of the uncertainty regarding building control approval and their refusal to sign the pledge @HydeHousing @michaelgove @luhc

@trussliz@Telegraph You should be ashamed of yourself. How can one feel so entitled? This is what you remember from your time as prime minister? Not the millions of lives you ruined by creating such economic chaos?
Yesterday morning I spoke to @JuliaHB1 on @TalkTV about the Gov’s admission of responsibility for the part it played in Grenfell (snippet below).
We are making baby steps forwards (🥳) but many gaps remain + we are a long way from a complete solution to the #BuildingSafetyCrisis
All the major parties have failed to rid England and Wales of leasehold. But @michaelgove is correct. In the 1990s, Labour promised compulsory commonhold on new-build flats and to delete marriage value. But when they got into power, they caved. Read here: https://t.co/9LYSp3WFua
@michaelgove What about Rydon, who have a massive portfolio, yet have no signed the pledge?!. Banks will only lend to those who’s developers have signed the pledge, how is a pot luck draw……a fair way to go forward? @michaelgove#EndOurCladdingScandal
The 2nd deadline for Developers to sign contracts has passed & leaseholders head into yet another Christmas living in turmoil in unsafe buildings.
When will firm action be taken against Developers & Freeholders who refuse to #EndOurCladdingScandal?
@MichaelGove@Lee4NED
@luhc
.@michaelgove makes clear in Parliament that there will be no backsliding on building safety - developers and freeholders must meet their responsibilities and pay for remediation costs 👇
7/12 Leaseholders pay for communal gas and electricity through service charges.
Landlords are classed as "intermediaries" under the new regs.
They have a legal duty to pass on the savings as soon as possible.
