Why does Jazz charge Rs.2,000 for an eSIM when a physical SIM costs Rs.350?

The eSIM is a digital profile delivered thro a QR code, so what justifies the extra Rs.1650?

Is this genuinely the cost of eSIM provision or simply a premium for smartphone users?

Consumers deserve to know Jazz eSIM pricing. @jazzpk can please explain the cost structure transparently?⁠

@PTAofficialpk could either justify or regulate it. It is also not helping visitors/tourists and overseas Pakistanis.

Attended this forenoon Transform Care South Asia - a dialogue on transforming care systems and women’s empowerment in SAARC. Commend @UN_Nepal @unwomenasia UN Women, ILO Nepal and @SaarcSec and other partners for this timely and enriching dialogue, interalia, highlighting that vast unpaid and often neglected care workforce constitutes a hidden economy with immense potential.
Encouraging to see growing recognition that the care sector can evolve into a promising avenue of inclusive growth, where women are not only active participants in the workforce (below 30% in SAARC), but are also fairly valued and compensated for their indispensable contributions to society and the economy.

Hosted today at @PakinNepal the distinguished Pakistani mountaineers Mr. Shehroze Kashif (Hilal-i-Imtiaz), the youngest Pakistani to have summited all fourteen 8000ers and Mr. Sajid Ali Sadpara, who recently summited the world’s fifth-highest peak, Makalu, without supplemental oxygen. Dr. Shehla Sheikh and Mr. Salman Teeku are also set to depart for Mt. Everest tomorrow.

The gathering celebrated their remarkable achievements and invaluable contributions towards promoting adventure tourism and mountaineering excellence.
