June 9, 2019, 3 years ago. Many posted photos of the first huge march that day, but what shocked me was the little skirmish that night. It was the first explicit clash between police and protesters since 2016. The force used and anger shown that night pathed way for what’s next
Just don't assume that those countries under protests (Hong Kong, Thailand, Myanmar, or Sri Lanka after a few months etc.) are all back to normal and doing well if they are out of your sight or no longer show up on your social media newsfeed/TV headline.
