Today we successfully finalised the 3rd review of the ECF Program policy discussions with the IMF. From all our discussions, it is evident that we are making steady progress on domestic revenue mobilisation, public financial management, financial sector reforms, and public investment management. Our government remains committed to advancing the key levers that can drive economic growth, improve the conditions for investment, and further strengthen #Somalia’s economic fundamentals.

Somalia is making great strides toward WTO accession. In Geneva, I participated in the first Working Party on Somalia’s accession—a historic step in this long-awaited process. This will open new trade opportunities and strengthen our global economic integration. A prosperous Somalia is on the horizon!
