@IndiGo6E@TurkishAirlines@MumbaiAirport The bag is beyond repair and requires replacement.
I am therefore requesting the replacement of my damaged 28-inch trolley bag.
@IndiGo6E@TurkishAirlines@mumbaiairport still not updated checked-in baggage on flight 6E0018 from Istanbul to Mumbai on 17 December 2025 The damage to my baggage is significant, and such a nominal voucher does not adequately address the loss caused.
@IndiGo6E@TurkishAirlines@MumbaiAirport Under these rules, compensation is calculated based on baggage weight and applicable limits, which is substantially higher than the amount offered.
Further, my trolley bag was properly packed, and the damage does not fall under normal wear and tear or excluded items.
And after traveling from Mumbai to my hometown, Dehradun, I have now received the luggage in this condition.
Please review the attached photos for your reference. I kindly request that you look into this matter and assist with resolving the damage to my luggage.

On 29th July 2025 Chalo Delhi to oppose against DG Circular 31 of 2025 with SUI and Seafarers. Let's show the world the power of innocent and jobless Seafarers due to this Circular. #All#Shipping#Community is invited @ABPNews@sui_union
When the U.S. deports Filipino seafarers, it makes global headlines, But when Indian seafarers are banned from sailing-silently, under Circular 31/2025, who will speak for them?
Both nations may be using "compliance" to justify actions. But behind the policies lie the same stories:
✖️ Broken livelihoods
✖️ Blacklisted workers
✖️ Silenced voices
Seafarers deserve fair hearings, not blanket punishments.

I strongly demand @dgshipping_IN to scrap Circular 31/2025. I expect DG to have consultation with Industry, Seafarers and Flag State to revise its stand.
India cannot afford 20,000 Job loss just because few Certificate of Competency (specifically less than 20) were found doubtful.

Enough Meetings. It's Time for a Movement.
Today, we saw what the system thinks of Indian seafarers.
In a closed-door session on MLC, DG Shipping made it clear:
Circular 31 stays. No dialogue. No delay. No dissent allowed.
But we are not here to beg for scraps.
We are here to fight for our rights.
FSUI convened over 300 seafarers, RPSL companies, and allies today—and the message was unanimous:
We will not be silenced. We will not be scapegoated.
Let's gather now in Mumbai.
We will come together as one voice—seafarers, unions, agencies, families, workers.
To demand what the system refuses to hear:
🔹 Jobs cannot be destroyed without cause.
🔹 Laws cannot be imposed without debate.
🔹 And lives cannot be played with behind closed doors.
This is a call to every Indian seafarer:
If you’ve been wronged by this circular, if your future is at stake—stand up. Speak out. Show up.
This is your fight. This is our fight.
FSUI is ready. Are you?

From Land to Sea, Seafarers’ Protest Continues
The protest by Indian seafarers against the recent circular issued by DG Shipping has intensified. While hundreds of seafarers are demonstrating at key locations on land, such as Belapur, those currently sailing at sea have also expressed their anger by staging protests onboard ships. They consider this circular a serious threat to their careers and livelihoods.

✊🏽 FSUI Speaks: Indian Seafarers Deserve Justice, Not Judgment
Circular 31 of 2025 is not just a regulation. It's a crackdown that threatens to wipe out the careers of thousands of Indian seafarers overnight—many of whom come from humble coastal communities, trained on the job, and proved their merit at sea.
Let us ask this clearly:
🔹 What skill or training was provided to tsunami-affected fishermen when they were issued Master CoCs to operate foreign vessels under 500 GRT?
🔹 Why are Indian seafarers now being penalized for navigating the same broken system that failed to regulate training institutes and fraudulent recruiters?
🔹 Who decides whose certificate is valid—when flag states themselves certify competency based on their standards?
The Federation of Seafarers’ Union of India (FSUI) condemns this blanket targeting of Indian seafarers holding foreign CoCs—particularly from nations like Honduras, Panama, Gabon, and Belize. These decisions are not reforms—they are reactionary measures that ignore systemic failure and punish the powerless.
Seafarers were misled. Some were exploited. But many genuinely sailed, served, and earned their stripes. They need rehabilitation—not suspension, INDoS blackouts, and legal threats.
Meanwhile, ships will continue to sail—with Bangladeshi or Indonesian crews if not Indian. Jobs lost here are jobs gained elsewhere.
Is this the future we want?
We call for:
✅ A review mechanism to distinguish fraud from error
✅ A grace period for seafarers to requalify or regularize documents
✅ Accountability at the source—fake MTIs, complicit agents, and loophole profiteers
✅ A collective stand by unions, RPSLs, and maritime organizations to legally challenge this circular
At a time when over 40% of India’s youth are unemployed, this circular strips yet another sector of its dignity. We will not stay silent while lives are dismantled in the name of reform.
We demand compassion. We demand review. We demand a reversal.
