@BeeNetwork combined tram and rail tickets save money. But rail staff have no clue what to do with them. They also have to open gates for you in stations too. Can you improve the user experience. Its easier to pay £3 a day more, get 2 separate tickets and not have the pain 😢
@EFC_FanAdvisory On the busses back to lime street its load 1 bus at a time. Takes about 10 minutes per bus. Load all buses at once like they do at man city and its such a more efficient process.
We were told policy for lfc they load 2 busses at a time but for efc its 1 at a time
We tested with the idea of creating an entire bakery store design, and we named our store "Yuzzies"
Prompt: "design a logo for our bakery shop brand "Yuzzies." vibe: simplistic, elegant, young"
Plastics are everywhere: water bottles, toys, food packaging, grocery bags, cosmetics, baby wipes. Start paying attention and you’ll see how deeply embedded they are in our daily lives. Yet almost half of plastics are only used once, and less than 10% of single used plastics are recycled.
In my new book I zoom in on the booming bottled water market which saw a staggering 73% growth between 2010 and 2020. 85% of the 600 billion plastic bottles used each year- that’s 1.1 million bottles used every minute- end up in landfills. These bottles can take up to 1000 years to degrade, and while breaking down they leach toxic chemicals which make their way into the animal and human food chains.
We’re now finding plastic particles throughout the human body including the digestive system, blood stream, liver, kidney and even brain. Evidence from emerging studies suggests these particles could cause cellular damage and may contribute to increased rates of disease and death. Research is underway exploring links between microplastics in blood vessels and elevated risks of heart attacks, strokes, neurological impairment, and more.
It’s not just me worried about this issue. A recent @SwissRe report identifies the widespread use and poor disposal of plastics as an emerging threat- both to public health and to insurance markets. Much like ultraprocessed foods, plastics pose a dual threat: a growing health burden and the potential for major litigation.
In 2024, California’s Attorney General filed a landmark lawsuit against ExxonMobil, accusing the company of misleading the public about the recyclability of plastics and their environmental impact.
You might wonder what this has to do with you? Well one small step is to switch to a reusable water bottle and consciously reduce your use of single-use plastics. Awareness of the hidden health and environmental costs is the first, crucial step toward change.

Luis Enrique: “I remember an incredible photo I have with my late daughter Xana, after winning the Champions League, placing a Barça flag on the pitch. I wish I could do the same with PSG. She won't be there physically, but she'll be there spiritually, and that's very important to me.”
After winning the Champions League with PSG tonight, Enrique donned a t-shirt in tribute to Xana and the PSG fans presented heartwarming tifo too. 👏
A simply beautiful moment... Xana is well and truly with you, Luis. 🥹❤️

Everyone, repeat after me: Windermere should not be green.
It’s November, and Windermere is turning green with potentially toxic blue-green algae. Yes, we could talk about the role of climate change, but let’s be clear: the real issue is that it’s 2024, and Windermere—our country’s largest and most iconic lake—is being used as a sewage dumping ground. That sewage is the primary driver of the algal bloom we have been seeing over the last week.
This shouldn’t be happening. It’s time for the government to stand against the exploitation of a place with such profound cultural and natural heritage and to finally put an end to sewage pollution in Windermere once and for all.
This is the people’s lake—a national treasure that should be protected for the many, not the few. For today, for tomorrow, and forever. There is one man who can make this happen, and that’s @Keir_Starmer . Keir Starmer, Save Windermere from sewage.
