v1.6.1 was released, with UX improvements around staking and mixing and a new voting policy which withholds rewards from miners who don't upgrade. Also new PoS participation and StakeShuffle mixing highs!

#Decred is preparing to implement a consensus change. This is a controlled and User Activated Hard Fork.

The new code goes in dormant, inactive. Once 95% of miners and 75% of stakers have upgraded, onchain vote commences.

This is upgrade by consensus with checks and balances.

This represents a monetary premium multiple
