The seizure of more than $300M in assets tied to Cambodia’s scam-finance elite marked a turning point in Thai–Cambodian relations, escalating border tensions and strikes on three crypto-linked scam compounds.

In an @ABC article today, Inca Digital Senior Advisor Jacob Sims warned that thousands of trafficking victims may have been inside the compounds at the time.

Looks like Cetus/Sui issue was an integer math overflow issue.

- Solidity added overflow checks in 0.8 (should have been 0.1 but we had to fight tens of millions of lost dollars w/gas golf wankers screaming against this)

This is a danger of homebrew ecosystems and rolling out your own languages and compilers. It is a black eye for Move, which was advertised as a safe smart contract programming language and obviously did not caught a basic issue like this.
