https://t.co/ip5DR0RMod is inventing end-to-end autonomous logistics using next-gen AI robotics.
We love it when our amazing alums pay forward 🥰
This week, @PathRobotics CEO Andy Lonsberry & @Nimble_AI CEO Simon Kalouche shared their entrepreneurial journey and insights with dozens of students!
Introducing Nimble — Intelligent robots in the real world at scale.
Our robots are helping fulfill online orders for some of the most iconic brands like Best Buy, Puma, Victoria's Secret, iHerb, Adore Me, Weee! and more!
Congrats to @nimble_ai and @simonkalouche for lifting the curtain on their robotic picker technology, already in use at Best buy, Victoria's Secret, iHerb, and Weee!. Integrates with a lot of existing warehouse automation in one day at $0 integration cost. 99.9% accuracy.
Takeaway from @karpathy's CVPR talk:
The most successful ML projects in prod (Tesla, iPhone, Amazon drones, Zipline) are where you own the entire stack.
They iterate not just ML algorithms but also:
- how to collect/label data
- infrastructure
- hardware ML models run on
I studied groups that have made outstanding technological achievements. What they have in common:
Curiosity, a big vision, an initial attack vector, a way to measure progress, people oriented towards rapid advancement, and a relentless focus on the few things that matter.
Nimble's goal is to beat Amazon in affordable, on-demand eCommerce fulfillment with the next generation of robotic warehouses.
Excited to add @drfeifei and @SebastianThrun to our board in this next phase of Nimble's legendary journey!

I wrote a blog post about how we can build increasingly intelligent robots & deploy them in the real world, outside of factories. It cites a bunch of awesome research from a lot of really smart friends/colleagues!

50 years ago today, Neil Armstrong, Mike Collins and I launched into space on a mission of enormous importance. God bless the 400,000 Americans who helped us get to the moon and back. Together, we Americans can do anything! Never forget July 16, 1969! #Apollo50
