@MichaelKudrna Most of my delivery drivers think i'm the maintenance guy. Only one there bright and early fixing things. I love when they eventually figure it out. Great connections.
@MichaelKudrna Agree. Same with competitive sports. True MVP is not always the one with the greatest individual stats. It's the one that makes the team play better as a whole.
Ski Northstar but Stay up at the Ritz. Ski in/ski out and you can leave your gear right there by the steps at the lodge while you go in to warm up/regroup. Taught both my boys there, 5 year olds dont last long sometimes so you can take your time. It's right by the bunny hill and the enclosed tram down to the village is half the fun for the lil ones.
This is why I build with code now and I preserve with community for later. That’s my barbell strategy to diversify for the future.
Independent restaurants are a tough lift in California. But alongside our live music venue, I still believe those real-world experiences will outlast anything I build online
ELON: LIVE EVENTS ARE THE ONLY LUXURY LEFT
Nikhil Kamath was showing Elon the data: movies are getting crushed, social media & YouTube dominate screen time… but the one thing growing like crazy again?
Live events.
Elon:
"When digital media is ubiquitous, and you can have essentially anything digitally for free, or very close to free, then the scarce commodity becomes live events."
When every movie, song, fight, or show is instantly available anywhere for almost nothing, the only thing that becomes truly valuable is the one thing you can’t pirate or stream:
Being there. In the moment. With the crowd. Feeling the energy live.
That’s why concerts are printing money, sports tickets are insane, UFC sells out in minutes, and even podcasts are doing arena tours.
Scarcity flipped. Digital killed the album, but it made the live show priceless.

@BowTiedBroke If you have running water/spring and elevation drop, a pelton wheel was a game changer when combined with solar and battery. I can walk you the setup at the ranch. DM if interested.
@MichaelKudrna Thanks for the encouragement Mike. reluctant to start being more open, but I'm sure there are tons of lurkers just like me that just need a lil push.

I’ve built my life offline — quietly observing online, I've leaned on this platform to learn and better myself rather than reach outside of my small circle IRL.
The coming changes in society are too obvious for me to continue to be just an observer. I’ve always stayed private, but lately I’ve felt a pull to step forward — and maybe offer something useful along the way. No promises, i'm pretty shy.
I want to thank a few people who shared wisdom publicly, without ever knowing who was listening.

As a fellow restauranteur, your takes on the macro and restaurant specific trends are where i check my own assumptions, and often learn something new.
Thank you.

You proved that you don’t need permission to build.
Shipping openly, without hesitation or apology, showed me that motion beats perfection.
Thank you.

You showed me that the internet can feel like a neighborhood. Your youtubes sharing of the "sauce" has helped me aquire many new skills.
Thank you.

Your curiosity and speed with new tools made me rethink what’s possible when you stay in motion. That tutorial you made connecting Cursor to Replit via SSH almost made me quit. I stuck it out and learned a ton since then, and it keeps getting easier!
Thank you.

Who wouldn't love this guy. building, posting, creating — proof that consistency and honesty go a long way. Humility and sincerity is rare on the web. I like it.
Thank you.

You made me slow down.
You reminded me that innovation without wisdom is empty, and that depth still matters in a loud world.
Thank you.

You challenge me to think beyond labor — to imagine a world where productivity isn’t the point, and meaning has to stand on its own. Star trek outfit and all.
Your work made me question not just how we build, but why.
Thank you.

pretty random list lol, but maybe there are more folks like me out there with a broad set of intersts, skills and philosophies that need some help cutting through the noise.
I’m not here to perform — just to contribute when there’s something worth saying.
It only felt right to start with GRATITUDE.
