@asperchica It's more the people side of it that I find tricky. So much unnecessary negativity that go along with the neurotypical mindset that has to be there as a comfort blanket for them. If you don't drop everything when you're very busy then they take it as an insult.
Any advice from #actuallyautistic about navigating #officepolitics? It's difficult when you focus on your job and get mocked for doing so, instead of neglecting an important part of your job in order to appease someone's ego by fauning over them.
@Lizreally10 @NeuroRebel In theory yes, but we don't have any right to change humankind around us, instead we must adapt, not demand everyone else adapts.
@liberatormark @brookewinters33 Then don't use it, simple. Don't assume you have any say in the way a group refers to themselves. Doesn't matter what sounds right to you, it has no impact to anyone but yourself. You don't like it, don't say it.
@alexhaagaard That is misinformation. If you point a camera at people, they tend to look and wonder what the hell the person is doing taking their picture without permission. You're obnoxious.
@alexhaagaard Does that mean since you are undiagnosed, you should be put before diagnosed people? That doesn't make sense. If a Patient is terminal. This is nothing more than a tumblr ideology designed to grab money.
