Enjoying Claude Artifacts? Want to build the next generation of Human-AI Interfaces?
We're hiring an ML Lead for Artifacts.
This is a unique full-stack role where you'll help co-develop new user interfaces along with the model capabilities which support them. You'll work as closely with our Finetuning teams as our UX and design teams.
Strong front-end/design intuitions + decent ML Engineering experience. Come build:

We're also launching a preview of Artifacts on https://t.co/uLbS2JMEK9.
You can ask Claude to generate docs, code, mermaid diagrams, vector graphics, or even simple games.
Artifacts appear next to your chat, letting you see, iterate, and build on your creations in real-time.
Introducing Claude 3.5 Sonnet—our most intelligent model yet.
This is the first release in our 3.5 model family.
Sonnet now outperforms competitor models on key evaluations, at twice the speed of Claude 3 Opus and one-fifth the cost.

Here's Claude 3 Haiku running at >200 tokens/s (>2x as fast as prod)! We've been working on capacity optimizations but we can have fun testing those as speed optimizations via overly-costly low batch size. Come work with me at Anthropic on things like this, more info in thread 🧵
Really enjoyed building this demo! I was inspired by the first task I had to do every morning when I started in investment banking - scouring annual reports and pulling numbers out to do basic modelling.
Obviously this doesn't automate that work away fully (and a good analyst would be robustly checking all the facts and extending the analysis!) but I think this genuinely would have saved me time every day on a task I hated.
It's an exciting step, lots more to do!
With this release, users can opt for the ideal combination of intelligence, speed, and cost to suit their use case.
Opus, our most intelligent model, achieves near-human comprehension capabilities. It can deftly handle open-ended prompts and tackle complex tasks.
Claude 3 Opus is great at following multiple complex instructions.
To test it, @ErikSchluntz and I had it take on @karpathy's challenge to transform his 2h13m tokenizer video into a blog post, in ONE prompt, and it just... did it
Here are some details:
@GregKamradt it’s really exciting to me you made an eval that models just smashed in a few months, pace of change is crazy, love ideas for harder evals! Good evals are key to deep and nuanced understanding of progress
i ran the "needles" eval originally for claude 2.1. some observations:
1. claude 3 smashes a more robust version that randomizes over different documents, needles, etc
2. claude 3 is tired of your shit, asking us to let it get back to real work
Today, we're announcing Claude 3, our next generation of AI models.
The three state-of-the-art models—Claude 3 Opus, Claude 3 Sonnet, and Claude 3 Haiku—set new industry benchmarks across reasoning, math, coding, multilingual understanding, and vision.
Claude 2.1’s 200K token context window is powerful, but requires careful prompting to use effectively.

Our new model Claude 2.1 offers an industry-leading 200K token context window, a 2x decrease in hallucination rates, system prompts, tool use, and updated pricing.
Claude 2.1 is available over API in our Console, and is powering our https://t.co/uLbS2JNczH chat experience.
After spending some time with Claude 2, I've uncovered some interesting use cases for myself that might be useful for others too:
1/ UX writing. I often use Claude to generate initial explorations of UX copy for things like tooltips, error messages, and in-product text.
Introducing Claude 2! Our latest model has improved performance in coding, math and reasoning. It can produce longer responses, and is available in a new public-facing beta website at https://t.co/uLbS2JNczH in the US and UK.
Got access to Clong about 30 min after I handed in 300 page PhD thesis… spent the next 6 hours in awe, _talking to my thesis_. 8 years of work digested in seconds. Thoughtful feedback and suggestions for viva questions. Only stopped when sun was up.
Introducing 100K Context Windows! We’ve expanded Claude’s context window to 100,000 tokens of text, corresponding to around 75K words. Submit hundreds of pages of materials for Claude to digest and analyze. Conversations with Claude can go on for hours or days.
Today we are releasing the new Claude App for @SlackHQ, in beta. Now every company in the world has the chance to have a “virtual teammate” who can help make work more fun and productive.
