CB8’s Transportation Committee tonight passed my resolution asking @NYC_DOT to convert the Queensboro Bridge South Outer Roadway to a pedestrian-only lane. This will relieve congestion on the North Outer Roadway, currently shared by cyclists and pedestrians as seen below.
This is the most devastating political ad I’ve seen in years. It reveals the truth about Trump and China, and that truth is ugly.

.@NYGovCuomo “I don’t know what I’m saying that people don’t get.” Too many people using our parks. Says he spoke to @NYCMayor & @CoreyinNYC - he said “get creative: OPEN STREETS!” Wants a plan addressing social distancing within 24 hours.
Doctors say that riding my bike outside is OK so it’s the only way I’m leaving the house, but if you do ride your bike or go for a walk, don’t stop, avoid social contact. Apologies to everyone but I won’t be stopping on my rides for selfies. Stay positive, stay safe.

Riding around Rockaway Beach to get rid of the stress of the day’s news. It’s working! If you can bike to work or bike to run errands I highly recommend it. If you are out of practice @bikenewyork & @TransAlt have some good tips.
To all the folks who helped turn an improbable hope into an undeniable reality: Thank you.
Online and on-the-ground, you showed that a politics of inclusion and belonging is not only possible, but our best hope for the future. Carry those values onward.
