Did you know if you get a parking ticket for a safety violation like parking prohibited or stop prohibited or even a hydrant or corner clearance, if the officer didn’t a picture of you in the violation, you can win the dispute!

@RayonaxJ They will get you for what they can including expired inspections even if you pay the meter. Cars parked on the street have to be legal and expired inspection is technically illegal

@BekahTiff @PhilaParking FYI, vehicles in a “No Parking” area can be there for 25 minutes.

Ever see these signs? No parking means you can be there for 20 minutes with a 5 minute grace period. If you get a ticket, the violation MUST have an observed time. If not, you can fight it!

@KarinFox @PhilaParking Looks like the ticket wasn’t written for a meter violation. Expired meters are $36 fine.

Because it is part of the city ordinances. They are not a private towing company and are mandated through the city council.

@EllisFromPhilly Towing fees are posted at $ 175.00 and 25 a day storage. All private towing companies' towing signs have fees posted, but you see no towing fee on any Philadelphia parking authority Signs .talk about a refund. Why is it allowed that the PPA is not forced to post Towing Fees??

The rule states that you must leave 30 feet of clearance from a hydrant so there is enough room for an emergency vehicle to park in front of it
