Another batch of $30 S19 Jpro’s secured to run the asic retirement home strategy
First hookup was from @MegaMinerAlex and @nickfost_
Second from our boys down the road doing a refresh
Nothing like being able to payback in 2 months (worst case), and then scrap for $20
This stuff makes me so mad and it should make you mad too.
You’re being lied to about the benefits of AI and AI infrastructure in America by people who are NOWHERE NEAR AMERICA
The cheapest electricity in the country never reaches a customer.
Methane flared at wellheads because no pipeline exists to carry it. Wind and solar curtailed because the grid can't absorb the surplus during certain hours.
Both are real power someone already paid to produce and can't sell. The price collapses toward whatever any buyer is willing to pay.
Mining is one of the only businesses that can physically show up to that energy and turn it into revenue.
It's also interruptible. Rigs turn off when the grid needs the breathing room and turn back on when there's a surplus to absorb. No other industrial load operates that way at scale.
The margin structure doesn't look like anything else in power generation. The input cost is whatever the producer was about to lose anyway.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 US Admiral Paparo says the United States is running a Bitcoin node.
"We have a node on the Bitcoin network…We're doing a number of operational tests to secure and protect networks using the Bitcoin protocol."
Pay attention to the water in Texas
Once all these 400 data centers are built, and they tap the ground water, guess what happens to the soil .
Texas will become the Sahara Desert if our aquifer is not safeguarded
@kinetic_finance What miners are they running and if it’s bitmain are they running custom firmware? Could they explain their power agreement for how mine pays for power? Curious if they have smart PDUs or dumb ones. Also are they looking at moving any of those allocated megawatts to AI?
