@squiggle888@ninetysevenjag@tragic_endings_ About it, some people feel they have to distance themselves bc you dont stop liking someone just because they dont reciprocate.
It skews the relationship in a -usually- toxic way, and makes it hard to move on.
@squiggle888@ninetysevenjag@tragic_endings_ Youre missing the point. Sex being off the table is not the thing that makes him break off the friendship. It's all of the other unrequited feelings. Its extremely hard to be around someone you want a deeper relationship with who doesnt want that with you.
Rather than be bitter-
@Urist1689@WeldonOnX@SandyofCthulhu As a Texan born person, how Texans say it depends on a mix of age and which part of Texas they come from. Most people say peh-khan where im from (northeast TX by the texarkana border)
@Mark13prepper@stevehalangri@SandyofCthulhu The Expanse books were great about using correct science and terminology for space travel. They for sure used AU (for long distances) or military klicks (for combat scenarios) as the primary indicators of distance.
Idk if the show was as faithful, but I heard great things.
@HaleyTCG In 2014, I beat an FNM player at my LGS so often and one-sided that at the end of the last game I ever played against him he just sighed, asked "why even keep playing this game?"
By the next week he had sold his entire MTG collection and bought into Weiss-Schwartz.
@Dantenon_@wildstwawberry Regenerate is pretty close to doing this. They should have just keyworded this like they did with sneak vs ninjitsu. Could have called it Healing Factor or something.
@Jase147819796@DKDiamantes Poppy seed buns are probably only available at a bakery, but sport peppers are what they put on Chicago dogs, and you can find those in most Walmart/Large chain stores. The pickles I like to use are the Klausen ones you find in the refrigerated sections of grocery stores.
@sihmael@jparkjmc As of June last year, Mang0 was banned for a year for sexual misconduct at Ludwig's Beerio Kart event.
He issued a public apology to the ladies he made uncomfortable, acknowledged his alcohol problem, and has been sober since
At that time he was still placing solidly at events
@TempoAxe He would probably suffer in a few key matchups, namely Puff and Marth. Most likely he'd still be the best overall character, but would suffer heavily in tournament settings.
I think maybe the better question is what if we applied this to all top tiers vs mod-low tiers?
@AngstyJake@MizutamariVT This is an issue that can be easily prevented by game preservation practices. Every patch, or every major patch, you save a copy of the source code.
Then you no longer have to spend ridiculous man hours to re-release products.
@hasibiroindustl@Saturnoxe The thing is, piracy is not the easy method. The easy method is buying a legal copy. It has been studied a lot in the west, and piracy is almost a non-issue for any product that has an accessible legal release for sale.
People generally prefer to buy games legally, if they can.
@iiniku1129900@kyuusyuha_001 Its key to remember that the citizens of today are not the regimes of the past that are responsible for these things.
Saying that savagery or atrocities are a cultural staple of American Society because of actions of decades ago is as untrue as saying the same of Japan.
@iiniku1129900@kyuusyuha_001 I think trying to call out war atrocities is laughable coming from Japan. The regime in Japan during world War 2 was nightmarish, and was the cause of death and strife for many thousands.
The atomic bomb is certainly a horrible act, but don't act like Japan is pure.
@ChefGreginald@NicaraoGaming I've watched plenty of pro players lose individual games to mana issues, especially ones that forced mulligans. Its just that tournaments are Bo3, so it doesn't often cost them the match vs lower skill opps. It absolutely loses them matches vs other pros occasionally.
@ChefGreginald@NicaraoGaming Nah I agree mtg has a great mana system, and that skill matters more than luck. But youre wrong that the odds of losing to mana issues are close to 0% Its just that theyre low enough that extremely skilled players can usually make up the difference often enough to make top cut.
@SkarlonYGO@FireForgeFriend Out of curiosity:
Since you say that Turns are a bad metric for comparing the 2 games, what metric would you say you prefer? I haven't played yugioh since before Pendulums, so i dont know basically anything about modern yugioh
@Sir_Septimus@MMKivekas@Review_bra Pro tip: if your instant speed removal cant stop Yagmoth from killing you its probably bc you should have interacted before they made a million creatures to sacrifice to it.
Stop waiting until your opponent drops the last piece of their game winning strategy to try and interact.
@DragoRaRaRa@Review_bra There are almost 5000 yugioh cards that have had their cards errata'd. There are dozens that have had entire effects seriously altered beyond a simple "cleaning up". Although, most of these are also a change in text that changes effects from being multiple use to single use.
