One good thing that resonates out of this $CLPT earnings is that both them and $QURE are ALL-IN preparing for the launch of AMT-130. uniQure is heavily staffing as you can see in @DesertDweller93 great tracking of job postings.
Joe talked on the CC about it for a bit.
@shmilylt No clue, pulled 4mil of guidance and the slowdown seem to be hitting the share price. But both $QURE and $CLPT seem all in for near term approval of AMT-130. Joe just stated will need clinical support in the next 12-15 months. Check transcript for exact details.
Let’s do a simple expected value for $QURE and $CLPT based off of 2025 highs (which imo are lower than when approval does come) and a rough value for bear case if approval doesn’t come or is delayed.
$QURE 2025 high $71.50, bear $12.50
$71.5 x .65 + $12.5 x .35 =$50.85
$CLPT 2025 high $30.10, bear $10.00
$30.10 x .65 + $10 x .35 =$23.07
I’d argue the approval odds are higher, and fair to argue that should use higher than $71.5/$30.1 for the approval values. Point being, current share price is lower than simple expected values.
@cyberprince_rwo $CLPT in the near term, extremely likely their partner $QURE gets a major drug approval (AMT-130 for Huntingtons Disease), look where they traded last year when good data was released. Now they are much closer to approval. In the long term this partner is one of dozens.
