@DFisman Approx 20,000 Canadians have died (from causes other than COVID) from a lack of access to medical care because of a system overwhelmed by COVID. So I think it’s nice to believe we aren’t “triaging” or “denying care” but we are. We just aren’t calling it that.
On my outdoor excursion, I was approaching a bubble family consisting of 3 children who were scattered all over the walking path. The father saw me and shouted “BUBBLE FORMATION” and all children immediately snapped back into close contact, 2 metres from me. That’s parenting.
It’s been two weeks, can we all agree to drop the pretense that “we all” have “so much free time” now? Everyone I know is stretched to the limits of their emotional capacity and/or is dealing with an increased workload, professionally and/or domestically. What is this free time?
@WellsFargo is forcing even elderly workers (report from a 69 year-old) to come to the office because they weren’t ready with laptops that could access internal systems. The dead rate for 70+ is 8%.
While @WeWork is telling clients about WFH, they’re still requiring staff to work in the buildings for “pop-ins”. WTF? No extra cleaning, just business as usual. Hey, do you think Adam is forced to come to the office, or has that billion dollar payout already bought him a bunker?

@hnshah Aim for at least 7 hours of sleep a night, workout/run 5 days a week, and read before going to sleep to detox from tech. Still leaves about 15 hours in a day, which can fly by but it’s hard to sustain QUALITY output when working that many hours a day for a long period of time.
I wish that Customer Experience leaders would stop answering the question "How do you provide support?" with a list of contact channels.
Instead, list all of the ways you guide a customer towards success. Asking a customer to call or email you is objectively not the best CX!
Ongoing and long-term churn prevention also depends on understanding the common drivers and causes of churn so you can prevent churn from trending in the wrong direction over time.
